Once again we are teaming up with Brighton & Hove Libraries and Photobot.co to create a snapshot of the city’s reading habits. The fun starts on WORLD BOOK NIGHT so come and take a #shelfie and join in the experience! All events as part of the BOOKY PHOTO BOOTH are free and fully wheelchair accessible. The Booth will be fully manned and our fabulous City Reads Stewards will show you how to use it. *Please check age restrictions and suitability against each event.

Wrap your book up before you come; we’ll then pass the books around. If you’re the donor, be prepared to talk for a minute or so about why you think the recipient will love this book. Grab a cup of tea or coffee from the cafe and we’ll provide some cake! Suitable for ages 14+

Bookish is a collection of five mini comedy shows from performers and comedians Laura Mugridge and Tom Adams, each inspired by a different book and the audience gets to choose which ones will be performed! Join artist Becky Warnock in exploring these questions in a series of playful photo collage workshops combining studio portraits and collage.
