Young City Reads 2017 Fantastic Fizzlbert Finale!

Thank you to everyone who took part in Young City Reads 2017, it’s been a brilliant project with more children joining in with our ‘big read’ than ever before!
There’s been so much love for this year’s book Fizzlebert Stump, The Boy Who Ran Away From The Circus And Joined The Library and what better way to celebrate than inviting everyone who took part to meet the author and illustrator A F Harrold and Sarah Horne in a spectacular interactive show at The Brighton Dome?!!!! What a party we had!
It’s been our biggest project to date with 1,950 children taking part and the grown-ups weren’t to be left out either, with 74 teachers from across 42 different schools joining in with the South Coast’s BIGGEST CHILDREN’S BOOK GROUP! The Brighton Dome was packed for the Festival event so you can just imagine the fizzing atmosphere in the auditorium!

A huge well done to all the children involved in the project and massive thank you to teachers, assistants and all those who were involved in making the project a huge success.
