Past Projects

We are an award winning reading organisation that reaches an audience of over 300,000 and works directly with 5,300 children and adults every year across Brighton & Hove and Sussex and supports them with books, events, resources to encourage and inspire a love of reading.

Collected Works CIC is regional in scale and works predominantly in Sussex, stretching into Hampshire and Surrey. We work with many partners including publishers, schools, libraries, local businesses and community organisations to reach the people who need us most.

Our projects and activities celebrate books, stories, authors and illustrators, promoting diversity and encouraging readers to engage with different types of books. In this section you can also find out more about our projects and activities, past and present. Click the drop down menu (above) to explore. Visit our dedicated YOUNG CITY READS  and ADOPT AN AUTHOR pages for info on our annual offer for schools.
