Young City Reads in Worthing

Wonderful news for the kids of Worthing: four years after the
launch in Brighton and Hove, our Young City Reads project plans to give hours of gripping reading and fun to all the kids in our town.

Many classes have already joined in and are waiting with trepidation to start the adventure on World Book Day, it couldn’t have been any other date, could it? For ten weeks these lucky children will share their reading, receive lots of dazzling free activities and will have a laugh with the absurd situations Fizzlebert Stump gets into.

We are not only talking about schools either, the entire town is working together to make this an even bigger event. We are delighted to say that Worthing libraries are happy to welcome class visits, to talk about the book and see the place where our Fizzlebert ends up, after running away from the circus.

We are really pleased that a place like Worthing, with lots of
young families and a great sense of community has this
teachers, spread the word and let’s fun begin.
